A user can create a system of any complexity and choose any peripherals that will be used in the Octagram system by using the Modular Engineering Platform (hereinafter MIP, protected by patents US 9,146,552 B2).
The ecosystem created by the Octagram MIP can be used for wide range of manufacturers of sensors, turnstiles, actuators, locks, power supplies, fire valves and other components of security and automation systems. Octagram is an open ecosystem and new hardware and software vendors are constantly joining it. The accession is due to the fact that using Octagram, component manufacturers can offer the client the delivery of a system of any complexity as a whole, since such a delivery is economically profitable – they can get additional significant profit on sale, which can be up to 65%.
The costs of developing and maintaining a by-product (MIP Octagram) are reduced to zero for other manufacturers, since all these functions were taken over by Octagram.
It is enough to conclude a license agreement and the manufacturer of turnstiles, locks, sensors, etc. enters the Octagram ecosystem.
The agreement is valid for 5 years. The agreement can be terminated by the manufacturer at any time after 30 days a notification to the Octagram will sent. Octagram terminates the contract only if the other party violates the terms of the license agreement.
